Her research is focused on the dynamics of societies and human behavior, and her work in sociology has offered her the privilege of living with and studying the people of the Mikea forest. Since that time, he and Lucas have shared duties teaching Clown and Physical Comedy at NYU’s Meisner Studio and The Studio New York.īryce’s experience with service dates back to when he was an Eagle Scout in high school, rounding up used bikes to repair and donate to families in need. Bryce met Lucas Rooney in the company of a nine-hour cycle of plays by Horton Foote called The Orphans’ Home Cycle for which the entire ensemble earned a Lucille Lortel Award in 2010. He has been seen on and Off-Broadway and most recently appeared as Carl Bruner in Broadway’s GHOST the Musical. She’s also appeared in New York Magazine and Gothic Lolita, a graphic novel published by Simon & Schuster.ĭana received an MA in Performance Studies and a BFA with honors in Theatre and Communications from New York University.īryce Pinkham (Executive Director) is an actor, teacher, and clown living in New York City. She has worked professionally in Sales, Marketing, and Event Planning for several years, most recently with the Asian/Pacific/American Institute to organize and facilitate various artistic, scholastic, and cultural events for the community.Īs an actor, her favorite credits include SINCERITY FOREVER (Judy), Mary Zimmerman’s METAMORPHOSES (Midas’ daughter), CHURCH by Young Jean Lee at the Public, and an NBC digital short as Connie Chung’s stunt double. He spent his formative years attending Tabor Academy and The Eaglebrook School for boys.ĭana Gross (Managing Director) is an AmeriCorps alumna whose work is rooted in ritual, trauma, play, human development, art intervention, drama therapy, and community-based theatre. Lucas is a graduate of The Old Globe Theatre’s Professional Actor Training Program, studied at The Actors Center and É’cole Phillippe Gaulier, and received a BA from Tulane University. He has served on the faculty at the Julliard School, NYU Graduate Acting, University of San Diego, University of North Carolina, University of Southern California, University of San Diego, The Actors Center, and The Studio New York. He recently finished shooting a role in Rob Reiner’s SUMMER A DOG DAVE’S with Morgan Freeman and starred opposite Amy Pohler and Will Arnett in ON BROADWAY.Īs a teacher, Lucas apprenticed under Chris Bayes at the Yale School of Drama and teaches Clown and Physical Theatre at Tisch School of the Arts. In addition to his many theatre credits, Lucas has appeared in numerous television and film roles, including LAW AND ORDER. He is currently playing Gerald in Manhattan Theatre Company’s production of REGRETS. His clown show CREATION had a critically acclaimed run Off-Broadway. ![]() Lucas won a Drama Desk Award for his work in Michael Wilson’s production of Horton Foote’s ORPHANS HOME CYCLE. Last year, he appeared as Barnadine in MEASURE FOR MEASURE with the New York Shakespeare Festival in Central Park and starred opposite Jeffery Demunn in DEATH OF A SALESMAN at The Old Globe Theatre.
